Parco Archeologico Didattico del Livelet is situated 50 kilometres north of Treviso, in the Veneto region, in an area rich of archaeological remains from early Palaeolithic to Middle Ages.
In particular, since the 1980s Neolithic and Bronze Age settlements are under excavation. The Park is developed around the reconstruction of three prehistoric dwellings, representing Neolithic, Copper Age and Bronze Age in the Alpine region.
Since its opening in 2007, the it has been a centre for didactic and cultural mediation, for young and adults, in terms of archaeology and environmental conservation (it is located close to a “Rete Natura 2000” area IT3240014). It is focused on the period going from Middle Neolithic to Middle Bronze Age and works on multi-disciplinary communication of the regional archaeological heritage.
One of the goals for the future is to work amongst others in adult’s education, regarding to the aspects of the social composition of the territory. The aim is to set up some activities and long and short term projects that could be designed as actually adult oriented, what do they expect, how do they learn, and their social background.
