Theconserves, analyses and imparts knowledge about the archaeological finds of the Canton of Zug dating from the Paleolithic to the Early Middle Ages.
The focus lies on an experience-oriented display of the past. Vividly created permanentabout pre- and protohistoric times in the Canton of Zug including life-size scenes and models. Yearly changing special exhibitions on present archaeological topics. Extensive program for schools and groups. Small outdoor area for activities related to and Ancient (e.g. archery, a baking oven modeled according to finds from , a garden, a Roman mill). Experience-oriented program with a wide range of activities for children, adults and multi-generational groups.
