Tim Clerbaut PhD Candidate
Tim Clerbaut (° Ekeren, 1988) is an academic assistant in Provincial Romanat Ghent University. He studied archaeology at Ghent University, where he obtained a master degree in Geoarchaeology and Archaeology of North West Europe. After having worked in the Flemish commercial archaeology, he returned to his Alma Mater to focus on the of material studies, especially of the Gallo-Roman period. He combines his AAP-position with a PhD-research on Roman Building Materials in the Roman North. The technical understanding linked to material culture is one of his bigger interests.
