Francesco Solinas PhD
Since 1999, I do archaeological and archaeobotanical research. I participated in numerous excavations and archaeological/archaeobotanical research in Italy, in Greece (Monastiraki, Minoan age) and Turkey (Hierapolis, Hellenistic age).
In addition to these activities I participated in Conferences / Meetings Italian and International ofand Archaeobotany; the editorial with the production of articles in the field Archaeological/Archaeobotanical in journals and monographs they also national and international character (in number 20).
2001-2008 Teaching Assistant Course Bioarchaeology: Archaeobotany, University of Salento Cultural Heritage;
2003-2008 Assistant Bioarchaeology Course Chair: Archaeobotany, Faculty of Arts, University Suor Orsola Benincasa of Naples;
2004-2012 Adjunct Professor of Anatomy, Faculty of Arts, University Suor Orsola Benincasa of Naples.
In 2001 I attended a stage of, sponsored by the University La Sapienza in Rome, at the “Centro Internazionale di Sperimentazione, di Documentazione e di Studio per la Preistoria e l’Etnografia dei Popoli Primitivi” of Syracuse (Sicily-Italy).
Following this experience there were more activities and research in Experimental Archaeology, especially directed to the structuraland understanding of the functional dynamics of facilities for productive uses (for melting and forging furnaces and in , ), and rituals.
